Heirloom seeds and rooted cuttings — propagated by hand in the backyard tunnel, packed at the kitchen table, shipped flat-rate nationwide.
Everything here comes from the same greenhouse — seed saved by hand, cuttings rooted in trays, divisions pulled from established plants. No warehouse, no middleman, no mystery.

Hand-saved seed from herbs, peppers, tomatoes, and Texas wildflowers. Open-pollinated, so they come back true year after year.

A curated themed box — Texas Herb Garden, Pollinator Patch, or Windowsill Greens. Seeds + cuttings + soil discs + guide.
Build a box →No distribution center, no rented nursery. Every seed and cutting Texas Roots sells starts in this backyard hoop greenhouse in El Campo — herbs, peppers, tomatoes, and houseplants in a few dozen grow bags.
Small batch means you get plants that were alive and growing the same week they shipped.
The whole thing runs out of one house. That's the point — low overhead means honest prices and plants that were alive an hour before they were boxed.
Choose seeds, cuttings, or a starter box and send your order through the form.
Seeds get counted and carded; cuttings get taken, rooted, and checked before shipping.
Damp-wrapped and bubble-mailed by hand, with a printed grow guide in every package.
It lands in your mailbox in a few days. Scan the guide, pot it up, and you're off.

Texas Roots was founded by Jordan Polasek, an El Campo technologist who got tired of mail-order plants showing up half-dead in a box. So he started sending his own — from his own greenhouse, propagated by hand, with his goldendoodle Autumn supervising.
Jordan also runs JordanPolasek.com and built this entire storefront himself. The same person who tends the beds writes the code and packs the boxes. Order from Texas Roots and you're ordering straight from Jordan Polasek's garden bench in El Campo.
Read the full story →If you're in El Campo or passing through, the Texas Roots stand is stocked from greenhouse overflow — herbs, starts, and seed packets at honest prices.
No cashier, no hours, no hassle. Take what you want, leave what's fair. It works because folks around here are good for it.
How the stand works →Everything I know about growing food, working the land, and living more self-sufficiently — written down, free for everyone, forever. No paywall, no email gate.
Send your order and Jordan will reply within a day with a total and a payment link. No account, no checkout maze.
