The stand started the way most good things around here do — with too many plants and not enough room. Rather than compost the overflow from the greenhouse, Jordan put a rack out front and let the neighborhood take what they need.
It works on the honor system because El Campo is that kind of town. Grab what you want, leave what's fair in the box or scan a tag. No one's watching, and that's the point.
